User Profile
Click your avatar in the top-right corner to open the user profile dropdown.
Profile options
The dropdown provides:
- Your name and email – displayed at the top of the dropdown
- Profile – open the profile page to manage your account
- Switch team – if you belong to multiple teams, switch between them
- Sign out – log out of your current session
Profile page
The profile page lets you manage your account details:
- Avatar – upload and crop a profile photo. Your avatar appears in the header, conversations, and team member lists
- Display name – edit your name with the save button
- Spaces – view all Spaces you have access to, shown as badges
Team switching
If your account is a member of multiple teams, use the team selector in the header (next to the gear icon) to switch between teams. Each team has its own projects, members, packages, and settings.
Authentication
Gerbtrace supports multiple sign-in methods:
- Email and password – traditional account creation
- Magic link – passwordless login via email OTP
- GitHub OAuth – sign in with your GitHub account
- Microsoft OAuth – sign in with your Microsoft 365 (Entra ID) account
New accounts require email confirmation. Password reset is available from the login page.
Account export and deletion
Account exports include your profile, team memberships, consent and usage history, and projects you created that you can currently access, including their current PnP fields and partitioned BOM payloads. Removed or disabled team membership does not grant export access to that team's project or BOM data. Export format version 2 includes a schema_version field.
Account deletion preserves shared team projects, uploaded board files, packages, and billing. If you are the last active team admin, first appoint another active admin or arrange for team deletion.
